Born on June 16, 1941 in Peoria, IL to Paul and Erma Geer Jones, she married Ronald Boley on September 20, 1959 in Peoria at the University Methodist Church. He survives. Also surviving are her 5 children, Jay Howard Boley of Roanoke, Brenda K. Powell of East Peoria, Mark Allen Boley of Washington, Devin Ray (Angela) Boley of Washington, and Ryan Paul (Kathleen) Boley of Washington; 6 siblings, Bill Jones, Sharon Platt, Judy Lane, Franklin Jones, Linda Hamblin, and Dolores Bannister; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Loren, Jim and Bobby, and 1 sister, Bonnieta. Ruth was a member of the bunco club, enjoyed playing bingo, doll collecting, Indian memorabilia, and shopping. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and looked forward to family gatherings. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton at 11 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2009.
