Born in Peoria, IL to Ernest and Joyce Maddox Morris, she married William L. Buysse in 1964 and later married Irving C. Du Bois on December 13, 1986. He survives. Also surviving are 7 sons, Michael Buysse of East Peoria, Brad (Denise) Buysse of Mundelein, IL, John R. Kerby, Robert S. (Nancy) Kerby, and Thomas D. (Joy) Kerby all of Texas, Gregory A. (Mary) Kerby of Washington, IL, and Irving B. (Kathy) Du Bois of Washington, IL; 3 daughters, Kristal (Stuart) Parks of Creve Coeur, IL, Erin (Aaron) Von Holten of Springfield, IL, and Laura J. (Brian) Franklin of Creve Coeur, IL; and 15 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and 1 granddaughter, Isabella. Linda loved and cared for the special needs children of School District 309, where she drove the school bus for many years. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, May 15, at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in East Peoria. The Rev. Robert DeBolt will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, May 14 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria. Memorials: Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
